Think Borno First is a grassroots social re-engineering initiative committed to reshaping the narrative of Borno State through the power of community engagement, local innovation, and civic pride. We believe that true and sustainable progress begins from within — when citizens are inspired to take ownership of their future and work collectively to rebuild, restore, and redefine their communities.

Our initiative emerged as a direct response to the complex challenges Borno has faced for decades — challenges rooted in prolonged conflict, displacement, socio-economic instability, and the erosion of local identity. In the face of these hardships, we saw not just pain and loss, but also a remarkable resilience and strength within the people — especially the youth.
